Withdraw or ask a question
We want every conversation we have to feel comfortable and entirely on your terms, so if you've got a question before committing, or you've changed your mind about taking part, this page should cover what you need to know.
Why people choose to take part.
A few honest reasons people have told us they said yes.
You get a copy of the findings.
Once we've spoken with everyone, we'll put together an anonymised summary of what we learned and share it with every participant. It's designed to be genuinely useful, providing a real snapshot of how other businesses like yours are managing the same problems, the workarounds that are working, and the ones that aren't.
You get a say in what gets built.
If what we hear points toward building a tool or service, the people we spoke with early on are the ones whose experiences shape it. If that's of interest to you, we'll keep you in the loop as things develop, and there's a good chance your input directly influences decisions that everyone else just inherits later.
It rarely takes longer than 40 minutes.
Most people tell us it's nice to actually talk through what they deal with day to day, with someone who's genuinely listening rather than waiting for a chance to sell something.
If you'd like to step back at any point.
That's completely fine, and you don't owe us an explanation.

Haven't had your interview yet?
Just reply to your confirmation email, or get in touch using the details below, and we'll cancel the booking, no questions asked.
-
Already spoken with us?
You're welcome to ask us to remove your notes and leave your responses out of the research entirely. We'll let you know once it's done.
-
Partway through a conversation?
Just let us know in the moment. We'll stop right away, no awkwardness on our end.
How we look after what you share with us.
Some promises we keep regardless of whether you take part, withdraw, or just ask a question.
-
Your responses are looked at alongside everyone else's.
We use them to spot patterns, never to single out what one person or organisation said.
-
If we'd ever like to quote you directly, we'll check first.
Even anonymous quotes are only used with your explicit permission.
-
Your name and identifying details stay out of anything we publish.
Unless you've told us it's fine, your organisation and role are never named in shared findings.
-
None of this is used for sales or marketing.
This is research, full stop. We won't add you to a mailing list or pitch you a service.
A few questions people often ask.
Quick answers to the things that usually come up before someone books.
Does it cost anything, or do you pay participants?
Neither, this is simply a conversation, given freely on both sides.
Will you record the call?
Only with your okay, and purely to help us take accurate notes afterwards. Happy to skip recording if you'd rather we didn't.
How do I know what happens with what I tell you?
You'll receive the same findings report as everyone else once interviews wrap up, so you can see exactly how your experience fit into the bigger picture.
What if I'm not sure I'm the right person to talk to?
Honestly, there's no perfect profile here. If contracts, suppliers, or compliance touch your work in any way, your perspective is valuable to us.
I said yes, but now I'm having second thoughts. Is that going to be weird?
Not at all, it happens, and we'd genuinely rather you felt comfortable than obligated. You can withdraw at any time before, during, or after the interview.
Want to chat, change something, or just check a detail?
We're easy to reach, and we'll always respond as a real person, not an automated reply.
Got a question, want to withdraw, or just want to double-check something before you commit? Use the form, or write directly to research@clausecrew.com.
We typically get back within a day or two. You can pull out at any point before the interview, during it, or after it's done with no explanation needed and no hard feelings.
"no awkwardness, no hard feelings"
Questions we get on first calls.
Short answers. Longer ones on request.
Or just grab a slot.
Twenty minutes, no prep needed. We’ll ask three questions and tell you whether we can help.
